I'm an Amazon bestselling book author, medical writer, medical editor, speaker, medical copywriter, and writing coach.  My goal is to help professionals write better.

I’m now an author with Wiley! My new book titled A Modern Guide to Medical Journalism will drop in mid-2028. It’s the first notable book on journalism in 20 years, and I hope it will help define the field moving forward. This book will be a must for anyone interested in medical journalism.

The Complete Guide to Article Writing: How to Write Successful Articles for Online and Print Markets (Penguin Random House/Writer's Digest Books) explores style, article writing,  journalism theory, and research in order to help the reader attain a complete understanding of the field.  This book is filled with insightful interviews from leading journalists and scholars. The Complete Guide to Article Writing uses a multidisciplinary approach when teaching article writing and journalism, and, when relevant, the reader is delighted with correlates from psychology, medicine, finance, literature, popular culture, and more.  In December 2014, The Complete Guide to Article Writing: How to Write Successful Articles for Online and Print Markets became an Amazon Bestseller. In 2017, this book was published in Mandarin.
